Teaching math and science with 6th graders at a progressive school has been a dream career. At this independent school in Oakland, my values around social justice have been cultivated through professional development to deeply understand my students and the world we live in. My latest professional endeavors center around maker education, partnering with colleagues from the Harvard Graduate School of Ed, Project Zero's: Agency by Design. I'm really excited to meet new colleagues at this conference and share some ideas around teacher disposition.
