Glenview School District 34
Technology Facilitator
Chicago, IL
I am a Technology Facilitator at a primary school in Glenview, IL. In this position, I work with kids and teachers to support their use of technology in the classroom. We are currently moving toward a 1:1 iPad environment for the entire district (K-8). I also work closely with my school’s Fine Arts team to create student driven arts experiences, including performances and digital products.

I am lucky to also have the opportunity to also be an instructor for Michigan State’s Master’s in Educational Technology Program (MAET). Since 2011, I have taught online and hybrid courses for the certificate program (Year 1), as well as the Year 1 overseas cohort in Galway, Ireland.

My educational interests include:
How technology supports young children’s learning, arts education, ways of valuing and promoting student’s thinking, school and library design, creativity, adult learning, strategic planning, and generally how to make school a happy place for all of us.
